Practice makes Perfect
I am setting up a practice space in my home to be able to rehearse and learn new songs. There is so much good new music out there. Prior to moving last year to our new home, practicing new music was a challenge. Having a wife and 2 kids in a Florida open floor plan home didn't leave much room for a space to practice without disturbing the entire family. For the past 10 years my practicing was limited to 1 or 2 sessions /days a year. A space at my fathers condo clubhouse was the secret rehearsal hall. The day would be long and typically learn from 10-14 songs in a day, playing them over and over again.
With this new space, I am able to just flip a switch and everything is powered up and ready to practice. I look forward to remaining current on the selection of music played at the shows.
